Council looks at Arroyo Grande

In a prelude to a possible vote, the Oro Valley Town Council last week took up the general amendment plan for the proposed Arroyo Grande development.  The council may vote on the plan for state land the town wants to annex north of the town at its Nov. 19 regular meeting, which includes a public hearing. The town's Planning and Zoning Commission already has given the plan its blessing.

Also, the town would define if there is enough water available in the area for prospective developers, Oro Valley Water Director Philip Saletta told the council. "If there's not enough water, they wouldn't develop."
