Local builder selected to lead national group

            Dakota Builders President Greg Miedema has been named the 2009 chairman of the National Association of Home Builders Remodelers, which has more than 14,000 members.  Miedema is a member of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association Board of Directors. Miedema opened his firm in 1987 and is a five-time winner of SAHBA's "Remodeler of the Year" award. He focuses on home remodels, particularly energy-efficiency improvements and aging in-place projects.
