KB Home installing anchors to reduce job site injuries

In an effort to reduce construction injuries and deaths from falls, KB Home has started installing a permanent anchor system on each of the homes it builds.

Last week, in conjunction with A Bear Productions, KB Home shot a video at its Mariposa Trail subdivision, Shannon and Rudasill roads, showing how to use these anchors and other safety equipment on the job site.

Each year, about 71 construction workers die from falling at residential construction sites, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics.
