Our Opinion: Diamond's gift
Donald Diamond, one of the largest and most successful real estate developers in Arizona , has done much to alter the physical face of Tucson .
Now he is using his financial gains to also change the future of Tucson's children.
Diamond's foundation has donated $1 million to the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona to bolster First Focus on Kids, a pilot program that guides money into early education.
The goal of the program is to make sure Tucson children enter school ready to lean.
Diamond's gift will have an impact for many years.
