Home Show Volunteers Needed

We’re not desperate… yet! Volunteers for the SAHBA Home & Garden Show at the TCC are still needed. Even if you can only spare a few hours the weekend of Oct. 9, we have plenty for you to do: walk the Show floor, watch for safety hazards, Will Call, answer attendee questions, and help at the entrances.

This is a great opportunity to network with members and local businesses. All volunteers receive a Home Show T-Shirt, name badge, food coupons, complimentary Show tickets, and a parking pass. If interested, contact Crystal Adams at 795-3025 or crystal@sahba.org.

October Membership Drive

Recruitment teams are forming now for a huge Membership Drive, October 20-22. The Drive consists of two hours of your time and a party. Team Members are eligible for incentive prizes and giveaways, such as $35 gas cards, $200 cash to the team that recruits the most members, and a fishing or diving trip for the individual who sells the most memberships. Call now to join in the fun! Contact Carol at 795-5114 or carol@sahba.org.

SCF Workplace Safety

Because of the H1N1 Swine flu, businesses may see as many as 20% of their employees out sick all at the same time. SCF Arizona, our workers comp and workplace safety partners, offers SAHBA member companies several ideas to plan for absenteeism and prepare for the upcoming flu season. Flier here.
