The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) has recognized 14 honorees for industry excellence in 2005 including its Builders of the Year. These awards, presented at Saturday's SAHBA Annual Installation & Awards Banquet, represent SAHBA's most prestigious honor for professional excellence and service to the industry and community.
The 2005 SAHBA Award winners are:
Builder of Year (less than 100 units): C & C Construction
Builder of Year (100-449 units): A. F. Sterling Home Builders
Builder of Year (over 450 units): Lennar/US Home Corporation
Custom Builder of Year (co-winners): Becklin Construction and
Canatsey Building & Development
Remodelor of Year: Dakota Builders
Associate of Year: First American Title, Senior VP Bruce Jacobs
Trade Partner of Year: Tucson Plumbing, President Chris McGinnis
Partners Steve McCammond and Sandi Baird
Individual Member of Year: Toni Sutherland, Southwest Gas
Sales Manager of Year: Lana Howard, Canoa Development
Elected Public Official (co-winners): Arizona State Senator Tim Bee
and Arizona State Representative Jonathan Paton
Public Official (non-elected): Israel Torres, Director,
Arizona Registrar of Contractors
