Toni Sutherland of Southwest Gas Corp., was recently named 2005 individual member of the year by the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. Lana Howard of Canoa Development was named sales manager of the year by SAHBA. The organization, which represents about 750 member firms and 40,000 professionals serving the residential construction industry, named state Sen. Tim Bee and state Rep. Jonathan Paton as its elected public officials of the year. Israel Torres , director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, was named nonelected public official of the year.
